Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 4-6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training following undergraduate training and 4 years of dental school. Our doctors manage a wide range of problems related to the facial region, mouth, and teeth.
Our doctors practice full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including all aspects of dental and implant surgery, anesthesia, oral and facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, and facial/oral tumor surgery, including the treatment of facial skin cancers. Our surgical staff is experienced in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery and all clinical members of our staff are CPR certified. Our administrative staff is also here to help guide our patients through the sometimes confusing health and dental insurance system. Our goal is to treat our patients with the utmost care and concern for their safety and to make every surgical experience as comfortable as possible.
The surgical staff at The Oral Surgery Group are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
The Oral Surgery Group’s staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. In addition, general anesthesia provided by a board certified anesthesiologist is available within our facility.
